Being Passionate

We are inspired everyday, by various people from all professions, to follow our passion. Follow your passion in life and it will take you far! We see celebrity after celebrity, billionaire after billionaire repeating this formula for success. Follow your passion, money and fame will find their way to you eventually.

Clement was the type of guy who would be a hero in a story like this. He was an ordinary boy who grew up in London, didn't go to university, formed his own heavy metal band when he was only 19. The band did pretty well for a good 4 years, but Clement wasn't doing so well. He faced some personal problems and had to be replaced.

After laying low for a few years, he went back to action with a new band Rock and they did some prestigious gigs.  All was well and good for about 3 years, but following his passion meant that he had to make the music he wanted, and he couldn't do it with Rock.

This was the time where the hero's life will change. With revolutionary musical breakthroughs, or a super popular song his life took a huge turn. Except, if those things had happened it would only be in an alternative dimension. He is, today, a 63 year old lead guitarist in a small band based in Leeds.

Is he successful? Well he certainly does not have the money or the media attention "successful" people have. His Wikipedia page is a stub, he doesn't have music videos and not even proper social media accounts (i.e. no brand in this Internet age). But hey, passionate people do what they love for 44 years straight, even if the money and fame may never come.
